Dear Emmalynn Rabe

Today was fun. We all went to Thanksgiving Point and watched mom compete in a clogging competition. She got 3 first place, 2 second place. You danced along with the songs and played your Pokemon while you waited. Afterward, we went to IKEA and had Swedish Meatballs for dinner then the boys played in the child center while you went with mom and dad to go shopping. You probably had as much fun as us. We got some treats for the ride home and had a great time.

This is one of my favorite pictures of you. You are a happy girl, always smiling...unless you don't have your binky. I hope you always keep that happy, sweet disposition. You are starting to yell when you don't get what you want, but I hope that when you learn how to communicate, you will continue to be happy and sweet. 

Family haircut day and Emmy's first haircut. You did not cry one bit, which I kind of love about you. Low maintenance. Let's hope it stays that way. :) Bangs and an A-line. It's so cute. Isobel did amazing!

After church nap look...for those who need proof you're not always smiling.  Still a cutie though.  And you had pigtails...so fun and adorable. 

Happy New Year! Look at all of those cute Rabe babies. We had a blast tonight hanging out together. We got lots of baby holding time, ate some good food, and played a few new games I'd never tried before. Most of the crowd was downstairs trying out the virtual Oculus rift. Funny and interesting to play and watch. Katie, Devin, and Conner will be leaving us tomorrow.  :(  Freddy had a fun play date with his favorite Aunt Katie, and we will really miss them. 

Christmas with Mimi and Papa Anderson Family party: We went to the Anderson Christmas party. We fill up an entire gym practically so it was fun to see all the cousins running around playing together. I wish we lived closer to more of them but it is nice to see everyone at least once a year. We ate soup, salads, and had desserts, and then played the traditional white elephant game. Cameron got the luckiest with a huge nerf gun. I got an LED toilet light....so there.  ;)  It was a fun time. By now, everyone in my family has caught some of the bug going around and we are going on fumes. But we pushed through and avoided any babies...well except our own. Christmas Holidays On Christmas Eve Eve, we invited Johnny and Isobel and their family and David, my cousin and his son, Landon, to come over for enchiladas. We do them a bit different with El Pato sauce and a whole bunch of yummy. It didn't taste quite like Grandma Flake's recipe but they turned out pretty good.
