Christmas Season

This Christmas season we have had a wonderful time, probably some of the best. We have all participated in #LightTheWorld challenges every day and it's been a great way to keep the Savior in our thoughts this season.
Cameron, Freddy, and I decorated upside down ice cream Christmas trees for his Headstart preschool activity, Freddy decorated a yarn tree for his 4-h meeting, and we loved participating in our Christmas Ward party. Freddy and Cameron wore their dinosaur robes and were dinosaur...shepherds.
Even though it's not pictured, Freddy had a fabulous time at school learning about how Christmas is celebrated in other countries. For his Christmas party, he wore PJs to school and watched The Polar Express. He wasn't actually ready to come home for Christmas break, but now that he sees he can spend that extra time playing games with dad, he is a happy boy.
Emmalynn has been fascinated with everything throughout this entire month. She loves all the noise and decorations and lights. She has started saying ice...because she loves to munch on ice. It's been a great holiday so far.

We visited with three neighbors and new friends and the missionaries tagged along to help us share a message of the Savior. It was a fun, wonderful time.
